Ingredients:

• 250 g – mixed dal (channa, tur, yellow moong)
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• 100 g – Sugar
• 50 g – fresh grated Coconut
• 1 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 10 g – black dry monnaca

Method:

  1. Boil the dals, drain and mash the dals
  2. Heat ghee in a pan, add the grated coconut and fry till it turns brown
  3. Then add the mashed dal mixture, cardamom powder, sugar and keep stirring till it leaves the sides of pan
  4. Spread it on the thaali and decorate with monnaca
