Ingredients:
• 1 lb – Chicken (preferably wings or drumsticks)
• 4-5 – medium onions, cut into rings
• 3-4 – tomatoes, cut into rings
• 2 tbsp – Tomato puree
• 2-3 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 3-4 tsp – Green chillies paste
• 1 – Lemon
• 2 – eggs, beaten
• Vegetable Oil
• Bread Crumbs
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Marinate the chicken in ginger-garlic paste, chilli paste, salt and lemon juice. Keep aside for 4-5 hours. If possible, refrigerate.
- Take enough oil in a deep vessel to deep fry the chicken.
- Take the beaten egg in a bowl, and dip each piece in it and then roll in bread crumbs.
- Deep fry till dark brown.
- Next, in a pressure cooker, layer half of the onion and tomato rings. Top with chicken.
- Add 1 tsp of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to the tomato puree paste. Empty the solution over the chicken. Then make another layer with the remaining onions, tomatoes and chicken.
- Close the lid, and pressure cook for 10-15 mins. Serve hot.
