Ingredients:

• 1 lb – Chicken (preferably wings or drumsticks)
• 4-5 – medium onions, cut into rings
• 3-4 – tomatoes, cut into rings
• 2 tbsp – Tomato puree
• 2-3 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
• 3-4 tsp – Green chillies paste
• 1 – Lemon
• 2 – eggs, beaten
• Vegetable Oil
• Bread Crumbs
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Marinate the chicken in ginger-garlic paste, chilli paste, salt and lemon juice. Keep aside for 4-5 hours. If possible, refrigerate.
  2. Take enough oil in a deep vessel to deep fry the chicken.
  3. Take the beaten egg in a bowl, and dip each piece in it and then roll in bread crumbs.
  4. Deep fry till dark brown.
  5. Next, in a pressure cooker, layer half of the onion and tomato rings. Top with chicken.
  6. Add 1 tsp of sugar and 1/2 cup of water to the tomato puree paste. Empty the solution over the chicken. Then make another layer with the remaining onions, tomatoes and chicken.
  7. Close the lid, and pressure cook for 10-15 mins. Serve hot.
