Ingredients:
• 1 tbsp gram flour (besan)
• 1 tbsp Wheat flour
• 1 tbsp Bajra flour
• 1 tbsp jowar flour
• 1/2 tbsp Rice flour
• 5-6 Green chillies (finely chopped)
• 10-12 Garlic flakes (chopped evenly)
• 2 tsp Jeera whole
• 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
• 1/2 tsp Haldi (or just enough to give colour to the flour mixture)
• coriander (finely cut)
• oil
• salt to taste
Method:
- Put the five flours in a bowl.
- Add garlic, jeera, haldi, asafoetida, coriander and green chillies.
- Add salt to taste.
- Add water to the mixture to prepare a thin batter.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil to the mixture and keep aside for 15-30 minutes.
- Heat a fry pan and add a tsp of oil.
- When the pan is hot, put some batter randomly (not the way we make dosas).
- With the flame high and cover the batter.
- When the batter starts leaving the sides of the fry pan, drop some oil around it.
- Turn and cook the other side for a few minutes.
- Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
