Ingredients:

• 200 g – unsalted Butter
• 200 g – powdered Sugar
• 250 g – self raising flour
• 50 g – mixed fruits diced
• Almond or vanilla essence
• 2 tsp – plain yogurt
• 1 tsp – Milk powder
• 2 tsp – baking powder
• 250 ml -water

Method:

  1. Preheat oven at 160 C. Grease a baking dish. Sieve flour, raising agents and milk powder.
  2. Cream butter, sugar, yogurt and essence together.
  3. Add flour mixture and water alternately.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Add fruits.
  6. The batter must not be too watery.
  7. Pour it in dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes.
  8. Allow cake to cool completely before serving.
