Ingredients:

• 1 cup – (100 g) Rice flour
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 125 ml – thick Coconut Milk
• 1/4 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 2 tsp – chopped Cashew nuts (optional)
• 1/2 tsp – Ghee to grease thali

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients gently (rice flour well combined with coconut milk and sugar and it should be like soft and smooth porridge).
  2. Transfer the rice flour mixture into a greased thali and steam in a steamer or pressure cooker (without weight) for 15 – 18 minutes on a medium to low heat.
  3. Cook till done or a needle inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  4. Keep aside to cool for 15 – 20 minutes and later cut into desired shape and size.
