Ingredients:

• 5-6 – potato/aloo
• 1 – Onion
• 2 – Tomatoes
• 1 inch – Ginger
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• 1 – Green chilli
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tbsp – chilli powder
• Salt to taste
• 2 sticks – Cinnamon
• 3 – Cloves
• 1 – Bay Leaf
• 2 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Boil the potato, peel, and cube.
  2. Blend onion, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and green chillies to make a paste.
  3. Fry it in oil with cinnamon, cloves, and bay leaves.
  4. After 5 minutes, add salt, turmeric powder, and chilli powder and mix well till the masala becomes light brown in colour.
  5. Add the potato cubes to the masala and stir well.
  6. Finally garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
