Ingredients:
• 4 – eggs
• 1.5 cups – light Brown sugar
• 2 tbsp – melted Butter
• 2 tbsp – Canola Oil
• 1.5 tsp – vanilla
• 1 cup – all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup – cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp – salt
• 1/3 cup – powdered Sugar
• 1/4 cup – chopped nuts
• margarine/vegetable oil
Method:
- Beat the egg with brown sugar until quite frothy.
- Beat in the butter, oil, and vanilla and work until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
- Sift the dry ingredients together and use a whisk to gently stir them into the wet ingredients until just mixed.
- Lightly oil a pan and spread the batter out evenly.
- Bake in a preheated oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes.
- Let it cool completely before cutting.
- Sift a little powdered sugar on the top after cutting but before serving.
