Ingredients:

• Urud dal – 1 cup
• Green chillie – 3
• Ginger – 2 small pieces
• Curd – 4 cup
• Rai – 1 tsp
• Green chilli paste – 2 tsp
• Oil – 6 tbs
• Salt to taste
• Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Soak urad dal with green chillies and ginger for 4-5 hours.
  2. Then drain the water and add the contents (with salt) in a blender and blend it till it becomes into a coarse paste
  3. Beat the curd in a bowl, and add green chilli paste and salt. Beat again.
  4. Heat oil for deep frying, form balls from the batter and fry till golden brown.
  5. Immediately put the vadas into the curd.
  6. Take another pan, heat 2 tsp of oil and add mustard. When it splutters, add it to the curd.
  7. Add coriander leaves for garnishing.
