Ingredients:
• Urud dal – 1 cup
• Green chillie – 3
• Ginger – 2 small pieces
• Curd – 4 cup
• Rai – 1 tsp
• Green chilli paste – 2 tsp
• Oil – 6 tbs
• Salt to taste
• Coriander leaves
Method:
- Soak urad dal with green chillies and ginger for 4-5 hours.
- Then drain the water and add the contents (with salt) in a blender and blend it till it becomes into a coarse paste
- Beat the curd in a bowl, and add green chilli paste and salt. Beat again.
- Heat oil for deep frying, form balls from the batter and fry till golden brown.
- Immediately put the vadas into the curd.
- Take another pan, heat 2 tsp of oil and add mustard. When it splutters, add it to the curd.
- Add coriander leaves for garnishing.
