Ingredients:

• Cauliflower florets – 1/2 kg
• Gram flour – 1/2 cup
• Cornflour – 1/2 cup
• Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Green chilli paste and soya sauce – 1 tsp each
• Oil for frying
• Salt to taste
• Onion – 1 (small)
• Tomato sauce – 4 tsp

Method:

  1. Mix together gram flour, cornflour, ginger paste, garlic paste, chilli paste, soya sauce and salt.
  2. Prepare a thick batter by adding water.
  3. Heat the oil to a medium heat.
  4. Dip each gobi florets in the batter and fry until it becomes crispy.
  5. After frying, place the fried gobi on a tissue paper to remove excess oil.
  6. Heat a tsp oil in a pan, add some chopped onions. Fry until golden brown.
  7. Add tomato sauce and a little soya sauce to the onions.
  8. Then add the fried gobi manchurian and mix well until the gobi is coated with the sauce.
  9. Serve hot.
