Ingredients:
• Dried Raw Mango pieces – 7 to 8
• Tamarind – size of a medium Lemon
• Red Chilli – 3
• Urad Dal – 1 tsp
• Rice – 1 tsp
• Pepper – 1/2 tsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
• Jeera – 1/2 tsp
• Curry leaves – 1 sprig
• Oil – 2 tsp
Method:
- Fry red chilli, urad dal, rice and pepper.
- Boil mango pieces and tamarind in a little water till soft.
- After it cools down, grind it along with the fried ingredients to a smooth paste.
- Add little water to the paste and boil it, add salt.
- When the paste turns to a thick gravy, remove from fire.
- In a pan, add a little oil, mustard seeds and jeera.
- Pour it over the kuzhambu.
- Garnish it with curry leaves.
