Ingredients:
• Grated carrots- 2 cups
• Ghee- 2 tbsp
• Milk powder- 6 tbsp
• Milk- 3/4 cup
• Sugar- 6 tbsp
• Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
• Cream- 1 tbsp (optional)
• Nuts sliced -1 tbsp (optional)
Method:
- Place the ghee in a microwave safe bowl(1 litre) and microwave for 15 to 20 seconds. Add the grated carrots mix well and microwave for 2 mins.
- In a separate bowl mix together the milk, milk powder, sugar to form a thick paste.
- Add this to the cooked carrots in the microwave bowl mix well and microwave for 7 to 8 minutes stirring the mixture after every 2 mins.
- Closely watch the cooking particularly the last 7 to 8 mins.
- Add the cardamom powder, sliced nuts, cream and microwave for about 30 seconds.
- Serve hot with vanilla Ice-cream. All cooking is to be done at full power or 100% setting.
