Ingredients:

• 6 – Eggs, hard-boiled
• 3 – Potatoes, boiled and cut
• 1/2 – Coconut , grated
• 1/2-inch – Ginger, grind with masala
• 4 flakes – cloves, ground
• 3 – Chillies, green ground
• 1 bunch – Coriander leaves, ground
• 1/2 tsp – Pepper corns, ground
• 5 – Cloves, ground
• 1 piece – Cinnamon, ground
• 3 – Cardamoms, ground
• 1 tbsp – Coriander/Dhania powder
• 1 tsp – Jeera/Cumin powder, grind
• 1 ball – Tamarind, paste
• 1 – Onion, sliced for seasoning
• 2-3 sprigs – Curry leaves for seasoning
• 3 tbsp – Oil

Method:

  1. Keep the boiled eggs and potatoes aside.
  2. Now grind the masala and keep aside.
  3. Then heat the oil in a pan and saute the sliced onions until brown.
  4. Then add the curry leaves and the ground masala until well mixed.
  5. Add water for the gravy and let it boil.
  6. Now add the eggs and the potatoes and simmer until it blends well with the masala.
  7. Then add salt to taste and remove from the stove and let it cool.
  8. Serve hot with rice or chapathi.
