Egg Flower Soup

Ingredients:

• 3 – Egg
• 3 cup – vegetable stock
• 3 tsp – soya sauce
• 1.5 tbsp – Corn starch
• 2 Clove – garlic, finely chopped
• 1 – small onion, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp – Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – white pepper
• Salt to taste
• 1 tbsp – Butter

Method:

  1. Heat butter in a pan and add the chopped onions and garlic. Fry for 2 mins
  2. Add soya sauce and stock to the pan and stir
  3. Add sugar, salt and pepper and bring to a boil
  4. Beat the eggs with a little salt and keep aside
  5. Dissolve corn starch in 1/2 cup water and add to the stock
  6. Stir continuously to avoid forming lumps. Cook till it becomes thick.
  7. Finally add the egg mixture stirring very slowly
  8. Serve hot
