Ingredients:

• 1 cup – soaked Chickpeas
• 1/2 tsp – baking soda
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1/2 cup – minced Onions
• 2 tbsp – minced Parsley (use Coriander leaves if Parsley not available)
• chillies as spicy as you desire
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – coriander
• 2 – minced Garlic
• Cloves
• 1 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tsp – black pepper powder
• 3 tbsp – maida/all purpose flour

Method:

  1. Grind all the ingredients to a coarse form without water.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai for frying.
  3. Once the oil gets heated enough for frying, make patties out of the coarse mixture and fry them just like vadas.
  4. Serve falafel as an appetiser or as a evening snack.
