Ingredients:
• Besan flour – 1 cup
• Sugar – 2 cups
• Ghee – 1.5 cups
• Water – 1/2 cup
• Elaichi powder – 1 tsp
Method:
- Fry the besan flour in some ghee until it turns golden.
- In another bowl, put the sugar and water to boil.
- When the sugar syrup reaches one string consistency, put it to simmer, add the fried besan flour and stir.
- Add the remaining ghee bit by bit and keep stirring.
- Wait for the mixture to start leaving the sides of the bowl.
- When it does, take a little portion of the mixture in your hand and press, it should become like cake.
- Remove the mixture from the flame immediately and pour on a greased plate.
- Flatten the mixture quickly.
- Use a greased knife to cut the mixture into pieces before it cools down.
- The pieces will become hard soon.
- Garnish with elaichi powder.
