Ingredients:
• Tuvar dal -1 cup
• Rice -3 cups
• Red Chillies -3
• Hing – a pinch
• Butter – 25 gms
• Salt to taste
• Oil to fry
Method:
- Soak tuvar dal and rice overnight.
- The next day, grind them finely without water.
- Mix all the ingredients together to get a stiff dough.
- Heat oil in a shallow pan. Put some dough into the ribbon pakoda mould and squeeze out directly on the oil carefully.
- Fry till it turns a golden brown and remove.
- Drain out on a tissue paper and store in an airtight container when cool.
