Ingredients:

• 150 g – dried figs, chopped
• 3 tbsp – roasted almonds, chopped
• a big pinch Saffron
• 2 tsp – hot Milk
• 2 cup – Curd cheese
• 1/2 cup – Honey
• 1/2 cup – icing Sugar
• 1 cup – double Cream
• extra Honey to garnish

Method:

  1. Soak figs in 1/2 cup of boiling hot water for 30 minutes. Add the roasted almonds.
  2. Soak saffron in hot milk and crush.
  3. Beat the curd cheese till smooth. Stir in the honey and icing sugar.
  4. Mix in the figs, almonds and saffron.
  5. Whip the cream till thick and fold into the fig mixture.
  6. Serve well chilled, drizzled with honey.
