
Ingredients:
• 500 g – fish fillets
• 2 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 – large Onion finely chopped
• 3 – green chillies, finely chopped
• 3 tbsp – bread crumbs
• 1 tsp – pepper powder
• 1 – Egg yolk
• Salt to taste
• 3 tbsp – oil.
Method:
- Wash the fish and boil it in water with salt for 5 minutes.
- Cool and mash it coarsely.
- Mix all the other ingredients (except the oil) with mashed fish.
- Heat the oil in a shallow pan.
- Take small balls of the mixture and form into cigar shaped cutlets.
- Dip each one into a beaten egg, coat with the bread crumbs and finally shallow fry them till golden brown.
- Serve hot.
