Fish Molee is originally a very popular recipe from Kerala. In this recipe fish fillets are cooked in coconut milk which gives the fish a coconut flovoury taste. To make fish molee is very easy and fast. Enjoy this fish molee recipe with plain boiled basmati rice.

Ingredients

– 500 gm fish fillets
– 1 cup thick coconut milk
– 1 chopped onion
– 2-3 chopped garlic cloves
– 1 teaspoon grated ginger
– 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
– 2 tablespoon oil
– Salt, pepper to taste
– 2-3 chopped green chilies

How To Cook?

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, add oil, onion, garlic and ginger and microwave it for 2 minute at 100 % power.
2. Add turmeric powder, salt and green chili and microwave it at 100% for 2 minute.
3. Add coconut milk and fish fillets and microwave it uncovered for 5-6 minutes at 100% power till the fish is cooked.
4. Cover and stand it for 2 minute.
5. Serve hot with boiled rice.
