Ingredients:

• 2 cups – fresh corn kernels
• 1 inch – ginger
• 5 to 6 cloves – garlic
• 2 to 3 – green chillies
• Coriander leaves
• Curry leaves
• 2 tsp – coriander seeds
• 1 tsp – cumin seeds
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – turmeric powder
• 2/3 tsp – plain flour
• Oil to deep fry

Method:

  1. Take a medium size bowl, mix 2 cups of fresh corn kernels with ginger, garlic, green chillies, coriander seeds and cumin seeds and grind them.
  2. Do not make a fine paste but grind roughly.
  3. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, plain flour, salt to taste and mix well.
  4. Heat oil, then add 1 tbsp hot oil to the mixture, add finely chopped coriander leaves and curry leaves in the above mixture.
  5. Mix well and fry pakodas of medium shape till light brown.
  6. Serve hot with pudina chutney or tomato sauce.
