Ingredients:

• 1/4 kg – Gherkins cut into rings
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• salt to taste
• 1/2 tsp – cumin powder
• 2 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Marinate the gherkins with the salt, chilli powder, turmeric powder and cumin powder for about 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add the marinated gherkins.
  3. Simmer on low heat till the gherkins are cooked but still crunchy.
  4. Serve as a side dish.
