Ingredients:

• 1 inch piece – Ginger
• 2 tbsp – coconut, scraped
• 2-3 – Green chillies
• Jaggery – a little
• 1 tbsp – Tamarind
• 1 tsp – mustard
• Salt and oil

Method:

  1. Heat a tsp of oil in a kadai and fry the ginger and chillies slightly.
  2. Then add the coconut and switch off the flame.
  3. Grind everything coarsely with other ingredients and add salt.
  4. Season with mustard.
  5. Adjust tanginess, sweetness and spice according to taste.
