Ingredients:

• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• 1 – medium gourd
• 1 inch piece – Ginger
• 1 cup – Coriander leaves
• 2 pinch – Hing
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – roasted Jeera powder
• 2 tbsp – oil
• 1 tsp – Yoghurt
• 1 tsp – Sugar (optional)
• 2-3 tbsp – flour
• Oil for frying
• Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Grate ginger and lauki/gourd in a bowl. Wash coriander leaves and mix with lauki. Add all the masala, oil and yogurt and mix well.
  2. Add wheat flour and knead it into dough. Use little water.
  3. Roll out the dough into chapattis. Roast on a griddle or tava.
