Ingredients:

• 1/2 lb – green beans
• 4 tbsp – oil
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/4 tsp – Hing powder
• 1 tsp – Sugar
• 1 tsp – sesame seeds
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tbsp – cumin powder
• 2-3 – Green chillies
• 1 – Garlic Clove
• 2 – Tomatoes
• 1/4 cup – Cilantro (chopped)
• 1/4 cup – chopped Onions

Method:

  1. Blend turmeric powder, cumin powder, green chillies, garlic, tomatoes, cilantro, onions and keep aside.
  2. Wash the beans, cut into 2-inch pieces and slice lengthwise.
  3. Cook the beans and when tender add 1/4 tsp of salt. Mix well.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, fry the mustard seeds and hing powder.
  5. Add the cooked beans, the blended paste and salt.
  6. Keep stirring till it’s sort of dry.
  7. Add sugar and sesame seeds.
  8. Mix well and serve.
