Ingredients:
• Spinach – 3 bunches
• Onions – 3
• Peas – 2 cups (frozen)
• Garlic – 10 flakes
• Ginger – 1 small piece
• Green chillies – 8
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• Tomatoes – 4
• Oil/ghee – 4 tbsp
• Salt to taste
• Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
Method:
- Grind ginger, garlic, chillies, coriander to a fine paste with a little water.
- Heat ghee/oil. Add sliced onions and saute till brown.
- Add the ground masala and fry on low heat till oil separates.
- Add turmeric, salt, peas, chopped spinach and chopped tomatoes.
- Pour enough water, cover and cook on medium heat till spinach wilts.
- Mix 1/2 tsp garam masala. Stir and take off from the heat.
- Serve hot with chapattis.
