• 3 cups – green moong
• 2 – green chillies, finely chopped
• 2 tbsp – onions, finely chopped
• 2 tsp – coriander, finely chopped
• Salt to taste
• Oil to fry dosas


  1. Soak green moong overnight.
  2. Grind the soaked moong to a fine smooth paste with a little water.
  3. The batter should be fluffy.
  4. Mix thoroughly, add salt, coriander leaves, chopped onions, chopped chillies.
  5. Heat tawa/dosa griddle and spread a little oil.
  6. Put one spoon of batter on the tawa and spread in a circular motion.
  7. Serve hot with coconut chutney or podi chutney.
