Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup – Green peas
• 10 – Shallots
• 3 tbsp – Coconut
• 1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Salt as needed
• 2 – Red Chillies
• 2 Cloves Garlic
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• Turmeric powder – a pinch
Method:
- Cook the peas with a little turmeric and salt. Drain the water and keep it aside.| |In a pan add oil and splutter mustard seeds.
- Now add chopped shallots.
- Grind the coconut, red chilly, cumin seeds, and garlic into a fine paste, adding very little water.
- When the onions turn golden brown, add in the cooked green peas and the ground masala.
- Mix it well and cook on low flame for 5 mins. Garnish with curry leaves.
