Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – Green peas
• 10 – Shallots
• 3 tbsp – Coconut
• 1/4 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Salt as needed
• 2 – Red Chillies
• 2 Cloves Garlic
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• Turmeric powder – a pinch

Method:

  1. Cook the peas with a little turmeric and salt. Drain the water and keep it aside.| |In a pan add oil and splutter mustard seeds.
  2. Now add chopped shallots.
  3. Grind the coconut, red chilly, cumin seeds, and garlic into a fine paste, adding very little water.
  4. When the onions turn golden brown, add in the cooked green peas and the ground masala.
  5. Mix it well and cook on low flame for 5 mins. Garnish with curry leaves.
