Ingredients:

• 150 gms – Peas
• 50 gms – Onion
• 20 gms – Celery
• 10 gms – Green chilli
• 100 ml – Milk
• 2 tsp – Butter
• 1 tbsp – Flour
• 4 cups – Water
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Pepper powder

Method:

  1. Set a deep pressure pan on the stove at high.
  2. Once hot, lower the heat to medium.
  3. Put 1 tsp. of butter into the pan, add the onions.
  4. Fry the onions until glazed.
  5. Add the peas, celery, green chillies and saute.
  6. Add the water and allow three whistles.
  7. Puree the ingredients in a food processor.
  8. Take another deep vessel. Set the heat on high and lower to medium.
  9. Add 1 tsp. of butter.
  10. Add the flour, roast it stirring continuously.
  11. Add the milk and make a smooth sauce. Add the pureed ingredients into the sauce and stir well. Add the salt and pepper.
  12. This soup can be garnished with a sprig of celery, or even served with celery sticks.
