Ingredients:

• 200g – groundnuts
• 8 Green chillies
• 1/4 tsp – cumin
• Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Tamarind paste
• 6 Garlic Cloves
• For tempering
• 1 tsp – oil
• 1 Red Chilli
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal
• 10 Curry leaves

Method:

  1. Dry fry groundnuts, remove husk and keep aside.
  2. Dry fry green chilli (prick them with needle before frying)
  3. Grind the ingredients (except the tempering ones) to a fine paste
  4. Heat oil, add mustard seeds, red chilli pieces, urad dal and curry leaves
  5. Fry till the seeds splutter, pour the tempering over the chutney mix
  6. Serve with dosa, pongal, idli or upma.
