Farsi puri is very easy to make Gujarati snacks recipe. farsi puri is a breakfast recipe which is usually taken with the morning and evening tea. It’s an easy to take out food. If you are planning vacation, you can make it in advance and take with you for 10-15 days. You can also make farsi puri for Diwali snacks and enjoy it. Ingredients

– 100 gm gram flour (besan)
– 200 gm maida
– 200 gm rava (sooji)
– 1 tablespoon cumin powder
– 1 teaspoon pepper powder
– A pinch of bicarbonate of soda
– 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
– Salt to taste
– 2 tablespoon Ghee
– Oil for deep frying

How To Cook?

1. In a bowl, mix gram flour, maida, rava, cumin powder, pepper powder, ghee, turmeric powder, salt and bicarbonate of soda and mix well.
2. Add required water to the flour mixture and knead a dough. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 1 hour.
3. Now, add 1 tablespoon ghee to the dough and knead it well.
4. Then make large balls from the dough and roll out thick puris from it.
5. Make small pits on the puris and keep it aside to dry. Repeat the procedures for all the dough balls.
6. Now, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the puris and place it on absorbent paper.
7. Farsi Puri is ready to eat. You can also store it for 8-10 days in an air-tight container.
