Ingredients:
• 250 g – Extra firm Tofu (cubed or cut into any shape)
• 1 cup – Coriander stalks (chopped)
• 1/4 cup – Mint stalks (chopped)
• 1 tsp – Cumin seeds
• 2 – Green chillies
• 3 – Garlic Cloves
• 1 tsp – Ginger (pieces)
• 3 tbsp – Yogurt
• 1/2 tsp – Lemon juice
• 1/2 tsp – Chaat masala
• Salt
• Oil
Method:
- Grind the coriander stalks, mint stalks with cumin seeds, green chillies, garlic cloves, ginger, chaat masala, lemon juice and yogurt into a fine paste.
- Add this paste to the tofu, mix gently until the tofu is well coated.
- Keep the marinated tofu aside, for either 2 hours or overnight in the fridge.
- Heat enough oil for shallow frying, drop the tofu gently, fry on both sides until they turn golden brown.
- Insert a toothpick and serve either with hot chilli sauce or ketchup.
