Ingredients:

• Porridge mix powder:
• 1 cup – Sprouted green gram
• 1 cup – Quinoa
• 2 cups – Sprouted horse gram
• 1/4 cup – Sago
• 1/2 cup – Barley
• 1/2 cup – Brown Rice
• 1 cup – Wheat
• 1 cup – rolled oats
• 1/4 cup – Flaxseeds
• 1/2 cup – Whole Ragi
• To make porridge:
• 2 tbsp – Porridge mix
• 1 cup – Water/milk
• Honey/Sugar

Method:

  1. Dry the sprouted green gram and sprouted horse gram under the sun or overnight, over a thick towel.
  2. Dry roast all the ingredients, one by one, until you get a nice aroma.
  3. Let cool and keep aside.
  4. Grind the roasted grains into a fine powder.
  5. Sieve the powder, grind again and store in an airtight bottle.
  6. To make the porridge:
  7. Bring the water/ milk to a boil, add the porridge mix.
  8. Mix well, ensure there are no lumps.
  9. Add the honey/ sugar and serve, for breakfast.
