Ingredients:
• 8 – idlis
• 2 – Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – Ginger-garlic paste (optional)
• 1 – Onion
• 1/2 – Cabbage
• 1 – Capsicum
• 2 – Green chillies
• Coriander
• Salt
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – Jeera powder
• 1/2 tsp – Black pepper (grounded)
Method:
- Finely chop all the vegetables.
- Heat oil and add ginger/garlic paste and fry.
- Then add tomatoes and cook well and then add salt, red chilli powder, jeera, black pepper.
- Now take a separate frying pan, grease it with very little oil and green chillies and the remaining vegetables.
- Lastly, add capsicum and fry till cabbage and onion turn golden.
- Add this to the tomato paste.
- Place four idlis in a plate and top with the desired quantity of the above vegetable mixture.
- The fried vegetables can also be used on an omelette as a health breakfast.
