Ingredients:

• 750 g – red Rice
• 500 g – whole Wheat
• 250 g – raagi/millet
• 100 g – whole moong/green gram
• 100 g – thick poha/rice flakes
• 2 tsp – fennel/ajwain
• 4 – jaikai/nutmeg
• 20 – Badam
• 5 – cardamom/elaichi with chilka
• 50 g – Arrowroot powder
• 50 g – bhadramusthe (optional)
• 50 g – sugandhi beru (optional)

Method:

  1. Roast the rice and wheat on low flame for 10 minutes.
  2. Spread the raagi (soaked in water so that it sprouts the next day) on a towel and let it dry completely under the sunlight.
  3. Mix the rice, wheat, raagi and remaining ingredients in a mixer and prepare a fine cereal powder (as fine as chapatti flour).
  4. To prepare:
  5. Take 1 small cup of water, 2 tsp of the cereal, some brown sugar candy and boil well.
