Ingredients:

• 1 – Medium sized Potato
• 1 – Small red Capsicum
• 1 bunch – Green Spring onions
• 2 tsp – Soy sauce
• 1/2 tsp – Powdered Sugar
• 1/2 tsp – Crushed red pepper
• 2 tsp – Oil
• 1/4 tsp – Lime juice
• Salt – as per taste
• 4 – 5 tbsp – Oil

Method:

  1. Wash, peel and chop potatoes into wedges.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry the potatoes until they turn golden brown in colour.
  3. Remove potatoes from oil and drain them into paper napkins to remove the excess oil and keep it aside.
  4. Chop green spring onions and the red capsicum into thin strips.
  5. In another kadai, heat 2-3 tsp oil.
  6. Add chopped green spring onions and capsicum and saute until they are tender.
  7. To this, add fried potatoes and saute.
  8. Add soy sauce, salt, sugar, crushed red peppers and mix well.
  9. Add lemon juice in the end and serve it hot with rice
