Ingredients:
• Almonds – 100 g (soaked and skinned)
• Milk powder – 2 tbsp
• Sweet bread – 4 to 5 slices
• Sugar – 3/4 cup
• Almond essence – a few drops
Method:
- Dry the skinned almonds and powder it.
- Put all the ingredients together in a heavy bottomed vessel, and keep stirring on a medium flame.
- When the mixture leave the sides of the vessel, remove from heat, spread it on a well greased plate and cut into desired shapes.
- Decorate them with almond pieces or with sultanas or candied fruits.
