Ingredients:

• 10 cups – flour
• 18 – Egg
• 2 packets – Yeast
• 6 tbsp – Sugar
• 400g – Butter
• water – as needed
• Salt – 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup of warm water with a tsp of sugar.
  2. Mix all ingredients with yeast and knead for 10 minutes. Put in large greased bowl and cover with a towel.
  3. Let it to rise for 2 hours.
  4. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts.
  5. Make each part into a 10 x 4 inch piece.
  6. Cut each piece into 3 strips and braid.
  7. Put each braid into a greased 8 inch cake pan.
  8. Cover with dish towel and leave to rise for another 2 hours.
  9. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
