Ingredients:
• 2 cups – Chicken pieces
• 1/2 cup – onion, chopped
• 2 – tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Ginger paste
• 1/2 tsp – Fennel seed powder
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – pepper powder
• 2 tsp – cumin powder, roasted and powdered
• 2 tbsp – coriander leaves, chopped
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Salt
• Oil
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter the cumin seeds
- Add the chopped onions, chopped tomatoes, ginger paste, garlic paste and stir everything for a while until the onions turn translucent and raw smells disappears.
- Add the chicken pieces with enough salt and stir for a while
- Now add the fennel seed powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, pepper powder, roasted cumin powder and stir again and simmer.
- Cook well until the chicken pieces get cooked and the oil separates.
- Add the chopped coriander leaves and remove from stove
- Serve hot.
