Ingredients:
• 200 g – Paneer cheese
• 1 – Capsicum
• 1 – tomato, diced
• 1 – onion, diced
• 5 g – fresh coriander, diced
• 2 – Red Chillies (halved)
• Pinch of Cumin seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1/2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 50 g – Cashew nut paste (blended with water)
• 50 ml – Cream
• 2 Cloves – Garlic
• ground to a paste
• 2 cm – Ginger
• Ground to a paste
• 50 g – Tomato paste
• 25 ml (2 tbsp -) cooking oil
• 5 g – chopped fresh coriander to garnish.
Method:
- Cut paneer into strips, similar to french fries.
- Heat oil so that it sizzles when you add a few cumin seeds.
- Add coriander, red chillies and paneer cheese.
- Cook for 5 mins, then add diced onion, fresh tomato and capsicum, followed by the remaining ingredients.
- Heat everything thoroughly, for 5 more mins.
- Garnish dish with coriander and serve with rice or tandoori nan.
