Ingredients:

• For making koftas:
• Raw Jackfruit – 500 g
• Boiled Potato – 1
• Green chillies chopped – 2 tsp
• Ginger Garlic chopped – 2 tsp
• Onion chopped – 2 tsp
• Corn flour – 2 tsp
• Ajwain – 1 tsp
• Salt – 2 tsp
• Red Chilli powder – 2 tsp
• Garam Masala powder – 2 tsp
• Amchur powder – 2 tsp
• Oil – 250 g
• For making gravy:
• Whole Garam Masala – (1 cinnamon, 2 cloves, 2 cardamoms)
• Bay Leaves – 2
• Onion paste – 1/4 cup
• Ginger Garlic paste – 1/4 cup
• Tomato puree – 1/2 cup
• Salt to taste
• Oil – 4 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 2 tsp
• Red Chilli powder – 2 tsp
• Water – 2 cups
• Beaten fresh Cream – 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Cook jackfruit with salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Mash it and add all the ingredients for the kofta, and make small balls.
  3. Fry it till golden brown.
  4. Heat a pan, and add oil.
  5. Add whole garam masalas and bay leaves into it.
  6. Now add all masalas and fry it till oil separates from masalas.
  7. Add water and once it boils, add the koftas and cook it on a very low flame for 10 mins.
  8. Finally, add fresh cream and remove from heat.
  9. Serve hot.
