Ingredients:
• 1 bunch – Curry leaves
• 2 – onions, medium size
• 1 – tomato, large size
• 2-3 – Red Chillies
• Tamarind – a small piece
• 2 tsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1/2 tsp – Urad Dal
• 1/2 tsp – Bengal Gram
• Salt as per taste
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add mustard seeds, wait until it splutters then add urad dal and Bengal gram.
- Add the chopped onions and green chillies, saute until golden brown.
- Add the tomatoes and tamarind and continue to stir.
- Now add the curry leaves and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes.
- Leave it to cool and then grind.
- Serve with idli, dosa or hot steaming rice.
