Ingredients:

• 1.5 cup – besan
• 1 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – water
• 1 pinch – yellow food colour
• 10 to 12 – Kesar threads
• Raisins
• Ghee – as needed

Method:

  1. Make a thick syrup with water and sugar.
  2. Add yellow food colour and kesar to it and keep it aside.
  3. Fry besan in some ghee on a low flame till besan turns golden brown.
  4. Turn off the stove, add some sugar syrup to the mixture and knead well.
  5. Now take a small quantities of the mixture in your hands and shape it like modhaks.
  6. Decorate with raisins.
