Ingredients:

• 1 cup – rava
• 1 cup – jaggery- finely chopped
• 1/2 cup – water
• 2 cup – Coconut Milk
• 1/4 cup – fresh Coconut scraped
• 1/2 tsp – Nutmeg powder
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
• 1 tbsp – ghee/brown Butter
• a few – Cashewnuts for decoration
• 1 pinch – salt

Method:

  1. Add butter to a pan and roast the rava until it is golden in colour. Then remove it from the heat.
  2. Add all the ingredients (except coconut and cashews) and mix them thoroughly and pressure cook it for 2 whistles.
  3. Grease a flat plate and pour the mixture.
  4. Press fresh coconut, cashews and make the surface even.
  5. Cut them into squares or diamonds when it cools down.
