Khandvi Recipe - Microwave Recipe


For Khandvi
? cup curds
1 cup water
? cup besan (gram flour)
? cup turmeric powder (haldi powder)
A pinch of asafetida (hing)
1 tsp chilli-ginger paste
Salt to taste
For Tempering
2 tablespoon oil
? tablespoon mustard seeds
2 green chillies (slit)
8 ? 10 curry leaves
For Garnishing
1 tablespoon grated coconut
2 tablespoon chopped coriander

How To Cook?

For Khandvi

Step 1: Take a microwave safe bowl and combine besan (gram flour), curd (dahi), water, turmeric powder, chilli-ginger paste, asafetida (hing) and salt, mix well all the Ingredients.
Step 2: Microwave at 80% power for 4-5 minutes. Stirring in between.
Step 3: Again, microwave for 3-4 minutes at 80 % power, stirring in between, until the mixture thickens.
Step 4: Take out the mixture and spread it as thinly as possible on a thick polythene sheet with the help of a flat katori.
Step 5: As it cools, cut into broad strips and roll them into small rolls and serve them in serving dish.

For Tempering
Take all the Ingredients for tempering in a small microwave safe bowl and microwave at 100% for 2 minute.?
Pour the tempering on the khandvi rolls in the serving dish.
For Garnishing
Sprinkle coriander leaves and grated coconut on the khandvi and serve it.
