Ingredients:
• Refined flour – 500 gms
• Curd – 10 tbsp
• Milk – 10 tbsp
• Baking soda – 1/2 tsp
• Baking powder – 1 tsp
• Salt – 1 tsp
• Sugar – 2 tsp
• Instant Yeast – 2 tsp
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Kasoori Methi – 1/2 cup
• For the topping:
• Khuskhus – 1 tbsp
• Kalonji – 1 tsp
• Ghee – 2 tbsp
Method:
- Sift flour with salt, baking powder and baking soda.
- Add the oil, kasoori methi and the yeast, mix well.
- Warm the curd and milk together and add the sugar to this.
- Pour this liquid on the flour mixture and prepare dough.
- Knead well for a few minutes.
- Keep covered in a warm place till the dough is double in volume.
- Mix the ingredients for the topping. Knead again.
- Take small portions and roll out in shape of naans.
- Spread a little of the topping mixture on each naan, bake in a preheated hot oven till crisp and golden.
- Serve hot.
