Ingredients:

• 1 bowl – Rice
• 1 to 2 – Onions
• 1 – Tomato
• 4 to 5 – chillies
• 1 tsp – Jeera
• 2 tbsp – Ghee
• For seasoning :
• 1 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 1 tbsp – Channa dal
• 1 tsp – black gram
• 5 sprigs – Coriander leaves
• few Curry leaves
• 1 cup – cut vegetables(optional)
• 2 tbsp – grated Coconut

Method:

  1. Fry raw rice for 5 mins
  2. Heat a cooker, add oil or ghee. Add the seasonings to this along with water.
  3. When water starts to boil, add rice.
  4. When almost cooked, add the onions, tomatoes, green chillies and vegetables (if using).
  5. In the end, add grated coconut and coriander.
