Delightful and variously shaped mashed potato patties

Ingredients:
3-4 potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
2 teaspoon corn flour
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying

Method:
1. Combine mashed potato, cumin powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice, corn flour and salt together in a bowl and mix well.
2. Divide into round balls of equal portions. Flatten each ball between the palms into round patties or tikkies.
3. Use cookies cutter to cut the patties into various shapes, like triangle, circle, square, diamond, smiley face, moon, star, etc.
4. Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry over medium heat until golden brown and crisp on both sides.
5. Remove from pan and drain on absorbent paper.

Cooking time: 20-25 minutes
