Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – knolkhol peeled out cut into small pieces
• 1 tsp – pepper Corns
• 2 tsp – grated Coconut
• 2 – green chillies, chopped
• 1 tsp – grated Ginger
• 6 or 7 Curry leaves
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 2 tbsp – oil
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves pepper corns, ginger and onions and saute for a few minutes.
  2. Add the chopped knolkhol and a little water and cook covered on low heat till the knolkhol is cooked and all the water dries up.
  3. Garnish with the grated coconut and chopped green chillies.
  4. Serve as a side dish with rice.
