Ingredients:

• 250 gms – Fish (Kos Maas)
• 2 – Tomato
• 2 – Potato
• 2 – Onion
• 1 tsp – Paas Phuron (mixture of aniseed, cumin seed, pepper, black cumin and Fenugreek seed)
• 2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt to taste
• Mustard oil

Method:

  1. Cut and boil the potatoes, keep aside.
  2. Marinate the fish pieces with a tsp of turmeric powder and salt.
  3. Heat oil and fry the fish pieces for about 2 minutes, keep aside.
  4. In the same oil add Paas Phuron and onion, fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder and salt.
  6. Cut and add tomatoes.
  7. When the tomato starts to melt, add the boiled potatoes and mix.
  8. Add 3 cups of water.
  9. When the water starts to boil, add the fish pieces and cook in low flame until done.
  10. Serve with Joha rice.
