Lamb Meatballs is semi-dry lamb dish made using lamb. It is flavored with various herbs and spices. At home, I make many different varieties of meat dishes using lamb. My first attempt with lamb dish was the lamb vindaloo. Now, here I am trying another lamb recipe which is a?standalone dish. It is not much time consuming, it can be ready within half an hour. This can be wholesome and serve as main course. This lamb dish is very luscious and tasty.

Ingredients
To Make Lamb Meatballs
– 3 tablespoons olive oil
– 450 gm lean ground lamb
– 1 diced shallot
– 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
– ? cup breadcrumbs, soaked in ? cup milk
– 1 tablespoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon sambal olek
– Salt to taste
– Some freshly pepper
To Make Tomato Sauce
– 1 minced onion
– 2 minced garlic cloves
– 1 finely diced carrot
– 1 finely diced celery stalk
– ? minced red chili pepper
– 2 cups canned tomatoes
– 4 diced large tomatoes
– 2 springs of fresh oregano
– ? cup of water
– Salt to taste
– Pepper to taste
For Garnish
– ? cup soft goat cheese
– A handful of parsley, chopped
How To Cook?
To Make Lamb Meatballs
1. In a bowl, combine together all Ingredients except oil.
2. Once mixture is a?ready make about 20 small meatballs.
3. In a wide pan, heat oil and sear the meatballs on all sides. Remove from the pan and set aside.
To Make Tomato Sauce
1. In the same pan, saut? the onions until translucent, about 2 minutes.
2. Add celery, carrots, garlic and chili pepper and continues cooking for another 2 minutes.
3. Now, add tomatoes, oregano and water. Season it with salt and pepper.
4. Once sauce is done place the meatballs back in the pan and continue cooking for 20 minutes or until the meatballs are fully cooked.
5. Garnish it with goat cheese and parsley savor it with warm buttered naan bread.
